Paint n Sip: Why You Should Visit Paintbar Bangkok

Paint n Sip: Why You Should Visit Paintbar Bangkok

Welcome to the world of “paint ‘n’ sip”, the growing trend of drinking while painting. The first reported wine and painting studio was "Sips n Strokes" located in the US, started in 2004 by artist Wendy LoVoy. Since then hundreds of studios and bars have opened around the world imitating the concept. Paintbar Bangkok makes it now possible for everyone to experience this exciting activity in Thailand.

Paintbar Bangkok offers a fun and unique way to uncork your creativity even if you never have painted before. Enjoy your favorite drinks and snacks while recreating a featured painting step by step lead by an experienced instructor. Give it a try and unleash your inner Van Gogh.

What's The Buzz

Have you always wanted to paint but never found the time to start practicing or buy the expensive equipment needed? That's where Bangkok Paintbar comes into play.

A typical painting class at Paintbar will take around two to tree hours and features a subject that your group will try to paint with the help of a skilled instructor. With easy-to-follow steps, you will be able to create your very own masterpiece in just one evening, without any prior training or experience.

Paintbar Bangkok offers a broad range of painting subjects for you to choose. From Rapunzel's Castle, Stonehenge, Tajmahal, The Invisible Man, to BKK's Skyline and Thiebaud's Ice Cream, there will certainly be a painting you like.

The acrylic paint used at Paintbar is a non-toxic, non-smelly, water based paint. As the paint does stain clothing, we recommend you to use one of the provided aprons for the protection of your favourite dress.

Food & Drinks

The studio boasts its own bar, so you’re able to enjoy a great selection of wines, beers, cocktails, and delicious food. Their signature dishes start at 119 Baht and include meals like Gambas al Ajillo, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, Liver Pate with toasted baguette and seasoned baked potato wedges. Several snacks are available, starting at 49 Baht.

The wide variety of beverages features wine by Robert Mondavi Private Reserve (239 Baht/glass, 1,599 Baht/bottle), St. Bernardus Wit beer (239 Baht/bottle), Brothers Wild Fruit Cider (269 Baht/bottle) or champagne starting at 3,450 per bottle, just to mention a few.
