Ruel is an English born Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney, who rose to fame with the best-known singles, "Don't Tell Me" and "Younger". In 2018, he won the ARIA Music Awards in the category Breakthrough Artist for his single "Dazed & Confused". He has also joined Khalid on his American Teen Tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2017. In 2019, Ruel was an opening act for two shows of Shawn Mendes: The Tour.
