Shuushuu.hiddenplace

Shuushuu.hiddenplace has found a new home on the second floor of the restaurant Heartbeat in Trok Saphan Yuan, straying not too far from its former spot. The bar still retains its playful, tongue-in-cheek attitude, reflected in the hot pink color scheme and funky décor.

Aiming to use as little plastic as possible, most furniture is reclaimed and revamped second-hand pieces. The stools, mostly acrylic boards set on vintage wooden chairs, are painted in pink and sprayed with the iconic logo. Meanwhile, the bar countertop is made from plastic trash, such as shampoo containers and bottle caps.

Shuushuu.hiddenplace’s highlight is undoubtedly its umeshu selections, but the bar offers selections from beyond Japan as well. Some options are imported from China and France, and there are new items to try such as the ‘Surprise’ menu and tasting sets. As for snacks, you can choose from edamame, macadamias, cream cheese crispy pork, crackers & squid floss, and sausages.

The venue is open between 19.00 - 23.30 on Thursday - Monday.
