Khalid for Levi’s XX Chino: Fresh Fits for Spring/Summer 2020
Grammy-nominated singer Khalid is partnering up with Levi’s to make chinos cool again with the first-ever chino platform of the denim brand.
Ever since Khalid’s entry into the music scene with his chart-topping hit single “Location” back in 2016, there’s no doubting the talent of this 22-year old and the unstoppable success he’s having in the global music industry. Aside from all the songs on top of music charts worldwide, Khalid is no short of awards and accolades as well. In 2019, he’d just grabbed 3 awards from the American Music Awards for Favorite Male Artist-Pop/Rock, Favorite Album-Soul/R&B for the album “Free Spirit”, and Favorite Song-Soul/R&B for the song “Talk”.
But Khalid isn’t stopping with just music as he’s now fully stepped into the fashion industry through a collaboration with one of the world’s top denim brand like Levi’s to release the Spring/Summer collection called Khalid for Levi’s XX Chino, the first-ever Chino line for Levi’s as well.
The concept of the collection is the bring out and reflect the teenage spirit inside all of us that dares to stand out and have fun with everything life throws at us communicated through the lovable personality and character of Khalid himself. The photoshoot for the campaign was taken by the LA-based celebrity photographer Ro.Lexx herself, also a good friend of Khalid.
The Levi’s XX Chino comes in Standard Taper, Slim Taper, and Straight Cropped fits with styles come in varying degrees of stretch for added comfort. The range of colors includes seasonal hues of pink and jade blue, jade green, classic black, olive green, and navy that you can mix and match with the rest of your wardrobe at will!
Aside from the designs for men, Levi’s had got the high-waisted Pleated Wide Leg Chino for women as well. These come in 3 color choices of khaki, white, and black.
