adidas Skateboarding 'L.A. Stories' by Snoop Dogg & Mark Gonzales
"L.A. Stories" is an exciting collaboration between the iconic rapper Snoop Dogg, legendary skater Mark "Gonz" Gonzales and Adidas Skateboarding. After announcing the project in October with an animated video, featuring both Snoop and Gonz, the highly anticipated collection is now finally unveiled.
Snoop and Gonz - two revolutionary personalities of skateboarding and Hip Hop music in their own right - share unique experiences growing up in the L.A. area and are among the most iconic figures of southern California street culture and the so-called "SoCal lifestyle" they're both proud to be a part of, and which ultimately has been the main inspiration behind the collection.
The limited edition “L.A. Stories” collection includes a sneaker, a hoodie, a long-sleeve shirt and a T-shirt, detailed with nostalgic Southern California iconography, inspired by the past and representing the West Coast experiences of both, Snoop and Gonz.
The customized "Matchcourt Mid" sneaker was designed by Gonz himself on his iPad and features a plaid tongue and heel overlay (paying homage to the plaid flannel shirts popular during the 90s on the West Coast), as well as gold eyelets, and a signature artwork by Gonz on the outsole.
The hoodie, long-sleeve shirt and T-shirt sport low rider cars and graffiti-style lettering.
The "L.A. Stories" collection will be available on Adidas Skateboarding beginning on December 5. Unfortunately, Adidas does not ship directly to Thailand, therefore you will have to reach out to friends that live abroad.
