COMME des GARÇONS & Nike Debut a Remastered All-Black Night Track Sneakers
COMME des GARÇONS (CdG) continues its longstanding relationship with the sportswear titan Nike with another collaboration. Over 18 years, the partnership had produced countless collectibles that had steadily consolidated the gap between streetwear and high fashion. This time, it’s the Black division of CdG that will be introducing the new all-black sneaker collaboration.
Nike’s retro runner, the “Night Track”, is making a comeback in the style of CdG Black. Inspired by the innovative car trends in the 50s and the glam of 70s Disco music, the pair comes entirely dressed in smooth black leather and shimmering patent leather. The heels feature CdG branding in white, while the laces and outsoles are sprinkled in shiny glitter.
As of now, the collection is only available in Japan only. Whether or not it will be making its way to Thailand anytime soon remains unknown.
