Vanilla

Each year, Vanilla brings us new, original mooncakes. The same goes for 2019, as the brand is offering two versions of the seasonal snack.

The first is the classic Durian & egg yolk and Lotus seed paste duo. These come in a metal round snuff box, which features one of the four adorable animals design (cat, rabbit, rat, and raccoon) on the front. You can get them individually or together in a four-piece set.

The other item is a more creative spin on the traditional sweet. The ‘slim’ mooncakes have a durian filling; it’s much more convenient to eat, but still retains the original flavors. This variant is available as a pack of two cakes or a four-pack paper box set.

Available now at Vanilla (G floor, Siam Paragon and 2nd floor, The EmQuartier) until September 15.

You can get the mooncakes by the piece or by the box set. However, the highlight is definitely the Limited Edition Box Set. The 2019 version features a gorgeous ‘moonlit lantern’ design; it’s made from environmentally friendly materials and can be repurposed for other uses.
