As Mother’s Day (August 12) nears, the idea of doing something sweet and memorable for one’s mom seems to gain more and more momentum. Some show their appreciation through gifts, while others turn to more ‘homemade’ gestures like preparing a wholesome breakfast.

During this joyful occasion, many people find it easier to overcome the awkwardness. After all, what would be a better excuse to tell your mom out loud how much you love her and give her a hug?

If that’s how things go, we’d call it a successful Mother’s Day! :)

But if you’ve got no plans for the weekend yet, shared activities with the family is a great way to bond and make happy memories. To help you decide, we at Siam2nite have selected 7 events happening this August 10-12 that sound like super-fun family time.
