The Australian bushfire crisis has been one of the biggest news on our social media feed since September 2019. According to The Guardian, as of January 9, the fire has consumed over 10 million hectares (62.5 million rais) and left 27 dead, over 2,100 homes destroyed, and 500 million animals affected.

Countless organizations and groups are working their hardest to support victims, both human and wildlife, as well as contain the spreading fire.

Even though we’re living over here in a different hemisphere, we can send help to those affected by this crisis. Here’s one Bangkok charity event you can join, plus a list of groups providing support for disaster relief.
