U Beer Welcoming Winter at Farm Festival On The Hill 2017

U Beer Welcoming Winter at Farm Festival On The Hill 2017

You can never be too sure of when the “winter week” in Bangkok will come and go every year. For most of us who do not have time to leave the big city very often, these very few days of cool 20+ degree Celsius temperature is the yearly highlight that we so desperately crave. And even though it never lasts, the cool weather kicks off a frenzy for people to start finding things to do towards the end of the year.

If you have been paying some attention, U Beer has been busy throughout 2017 holding events at multiple venues across the country. These events have always been filled with energy and littered with special shows, activities, and a lot of prizes! The big success must also be attributed to the U DJs and U Angels who always turn up to bring the fun to all of their parties. One unique characteristic of the U DJs that make the parties interesting is that their appearances are kept secret. Attendees will only find out which U DJ turns up to spin for them once they have already arrived at the parties.

You may wonder what all of these parties have been leading up to. The answer is that the yellow beer has been laying down their foundations for their grand finale. Starting on November 29th and lasting until December 3rd this year, U Beer will be bringing to Singha Park in Chiang-Rai province another edition of the Farm Festival On The Hill. Touted as one of the biggest lifestyle festivals to be hosted in Thailand, Farm Festival On The Hill has something for everyone.

But of course, as appealing as it is, getting your friends and family to go with you to Chiang-Rai is no easy task. Let us help you convince them for 5 reasons we think the Farm Festival On The Hill 2017 should not be missed! Surely, this will do the trick.

At the time of writing, the weather up north in Chiang-Rai is currently 25 degrees Celsius during the day. Last we checked, Bangkok is still hovering slightly above 30 degrees Celsius. We are not going as far as saying that you are guaranteed to find the cold weather at Singha Park when you arrive, but chances are you will see that being in the middle of the 8,000-rai Boon Rawd-owned farm in Chiang-Rai will feel as refreshing as ever. After the 200 million baht that went into the restoration of the area in 2013, the pristine condition of the area is not only perfect to hold an awesome festival, but it is also the ideal setting to rest your heart and mind.

The organizers have promised to bring in food vendors from all over Thailand to ensure that everyone who attends remains well fed. Expect delicacies from the North to shine through, but we are sure there will be enough on offer for everyone with all tastes. Most of the food will be hosted in the large beer garden area. However, not to be outdone, U Beer will also host their beer garden zone where they will be bringing the party they have prepared all year for. Expect the U DJs and U Angles to do what they do best, and that is to entertain guests all night long. The different zones will be open from 17:00 until midnight, but the “after party” hours will begin at 23:00.

One of the highlights of Singha Park is that it is such a scenic backdrop for ANYTHING. The park was built to become an agro-tourism destination which focuses on the development of sustainable tourism in Chiang-Rai. Located in an elevated area about 450m above sea level, the broad area of the park is surrounded by mountains and fertile land. In addition to that, U Beer and their beer garden zone have plans to simulate snow for the attendees to fill their insta-feeds with. The snow is their way of introducing their newest craft beer Snowy, which is a special Weizen beer by EST. 33.
