SINGHA Corporation has launched a spanking new lifestyle event under the “SINGHA Experience” concept. The grand debut installment – SHINE Muang Singha – took place on November 30 and December 1, where it saw incredible success with crowds pouring in to check out the fanfare.

SHINE Muang Singha aims to introduce a new breed of lifestyle festival to young Bangkokians, transforming a downtown space at Airport Rail Line Makkasan into a wonderland of inspiration.

Packed in the event’s four zones are activities and workshops to show festival-goers how to appreciate life’s little pleasures and let their artistic side shine.

Celebrity chef, Chef Huto, shared his culinary expertise.

The first zone – Thep Tower – showcased eight top-tiered creators from various industries, who shared inspiring stories of their career as a shining example for the audience.

The activities also allowed aspiring artists to exchange their experiences as well as explore other creative avenues in hands-on workshops. Among other things, you could make and take home handpainted tote bags and leather bracelets as mementos.

Next is ‘Wai Gla’ zone, lined on both sides with over 40 booths from eateries, cafés, fashion shops, galleries & exhibitions, and co-working spaces by young entrepreneurs.

Festival-goers enjoyed chilling, shopping, and sampling all the delicious treats. Naturally, the bulk of the crowd gathered at the food booths to get a taste of everything from top restaurant chains, celebrity chefs, to street food legends.

To make sure everyone’s having a good time, SHINE Muang Singha provided ample space for foodies to discover all the mouthwatering munchies.

Secret Zone

The secretive attraction reeled you in with a glowing maze fashioned out of huge gallon tanks. At the center of the labyrinth were all sorts of thrilling activities, including PONG Connect. The hi-tech beer pong lets you compete with your friends and see your scores in real-time on its companion app.

Nearby was the colorful cocktail counter that featured futuristic glowing coasters. As you set your glass down, it will be lit up from the bottom. With drinks that looked like they come right out of sci-fi films, you just couldn’t help but take a photo or two.

Plus, the eye-popping graphics in the background added much to the ambiance, making for a wonderfully Insta-worthy backdrop.

Finally, there’s the exhilarating concert throughout two nights by a lineup of Thailand’s top acts. Kicking off a journey through the world of music on November 30 are Yellow Fang and TELEx TELEXs. Then, the heat is turned up by several sizzling hits from The Parkinson.

The Saturday night is wrapped up by a phenomenal show from Wan Thanakrit, who brought his greatest hits for his fans to sing along. His incredible talent for working the crowd earned him an explosive round of applause and cheer.

Stamp Apiwat

On December 1, the Shine Stage welcomed many well-known artists: Violette Wautier, Max Jenmana, and ETC. The crowd was swept off their feet by their moving and heartfelt hits. The concert ended with an energetic performance by Stamp Apiwat, where everyone leaped and bounced in excitement.

Other than the spectacular shows we saw from those eight acts, the stage – true to its name – shined with dazzling lights and special effects. The production systems were state-of-the-art and played an essential part in bringing the performances to life.

Apart from these four main zones, there was an extra-cool activity festival-goers can enjoy. Snapping photos at this hip event then posting them on Instagram with the hashtag #SinghaExperience would send the images to the giant LED displays. The shots looked absolutely stunning, so big props to those who took them!

Suffice to say, SHINE Muang Singha was a huge hit with the crowd, despite this being the first installment. Countless creators let their creativity shine, exchanged their experiences, and packed a wholesome bunch of fun and inspiration home.
