1. Spectacular Lineup and 90-Minute Set by Martin Garrix

Turning up the heat at S2O Festival 2020 while festival-goers enter raging water war are these 14 acts, all of them well-known names among Thai EDM fans and ravers:

Dash Berlin, Don Diablo, Jonas Blue, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, and Mike Perry on April 11 (Sat); Zedd, Lucas & Steve, Marlo, The Him, and Vinai on April 12 (Sun); and Martin Garrix, Alison Wonderland, Firebeatz, and San Holo on April 13 (Mon).

Most importantly, get ready if you love pop-infused electro/progressive house sounds by Martin Garrix, as he’s bringing a full 90-minute set! The Dutch DJ is best known for “Animals”, “Scared To Be Lonely”, and “In The Name Of Love”, which has gained over 500 million views on YouTube.

2. Celebrate Songkran Early and Have Two Whole Days for Yourself

Songkran festivities usually take place on April 13-15. That’s three days not counting the weekends, and then you’d have to get back to work exhausted.

S2O Festival 2020 understands that it’s hard for Thai and foreign party lovers, so the team is moving the festival a bit earlier. This year, come dance to high-energy beats in the water war fest on April 11-13 (Sat-Mon), 2020.

This means you’ll get to celebrate the splashing festivities before anyone else in Thailand and still have two days left on April 14-15. Whether you’re planning to spend them at epic water fights or rest up to get ready for work, the choice is all yours!

3. Bigger, Wilder, and Grander Production

One of the reasons S2O has seen so much hype is the full-blown production it offers. Better yet, the organizing team promises that this year’s festival will be bigger and better than ever!

The first worth mentioning is the stage itself, which shows the sheer scale of this year’s production. The performance area boasts 75 meters in length and 30 meters in height.

Combine that with state-of-the-art light & sound systems, fireworks, lasers, visual effects, and other creative features, and you’ll get the perfect setting for amazing & exhilarating shows.

Another essential part of S2O Festival, one of the world’s wettest and wildest festivals, is water. For this event, you’ll be soaked from all directions by a 360º water cannon system. The sprinklers feature an auto-effect setup, which allows them to hit the crowd with streams of water that match the rhythms, keeping everyone soaked in excitement.

You can enjoy the water fight no matter where you are in the crowd.

4. Eco-friendly Festival Fun

Right now, the world turns its focus on the environment, especially so last year. S2O is showing its commitment to go green as well; you can party at S2O Festival 2020 while helping out our planet.

To ensure eco-friendliness, the festival uses recyclable materials for the wristbands as well as promotes proper waste sorting in the event area, which will allow for easier recycling later. All food wastes will also be collected and turn into fertilizers.

5. Different Passes for Different Party Lovers

This music festival will last three days, and it’s chock full of world-class artists. If you're a raver who doesn’t want to miss a single track and looking forward to spending your entire Songkran holiday at this EDM fest, be sure to grab the three-day ticket. A regular pass is now selling for 4,600 THB.

But for something a little extra in your festival experience, S2O also offers VIP one-day passes. Currently priced at 3,000 THB, these come with access to a private entrance, a dedicated standing zone, a bar, and VIP restrooms.

Still, you might have other things to consider, like not being able to make it to all three days of the event or only wanting to see a few DJs on the list. In that case, the one-day regular pass is a great fit. No need to break your piggy bank for the three-day pass, as the one-day option costs the same 2,000 THB for April 11, 12, and 13.

6. Because it’s S2O!

S2O Songkran Music Festival is one of Thailand’s biggest music events and the first to launch successfully in other Asian countries. Last year, S2O brought its production to festival lovers in Japan and Taiwan, while the Bangkok installment welcomed over 16,000 participants.

Taking a Thai tradition such as water splashing on Songkran and combining it with the worldwide sensation that’s raving culture is no easy task, especially on this scale. It requires professional management and world-class standards, and having both of them, S2O quickly rose to popularity.

The fact that this installment is the festival’s sixth anniversary should be a testament to S2O’s brand of entertainment in itself.
