Although we may not be able to supply the fast cars or the bad guys, word on the street is that the awesome backyard experience you often see Dominic Toretto (aka. Vin Diesel) drinking a beer in has been recreated in Thailand – the only difference is it is on a rooftop and it has a pool.
722 Craft Experience is a new bar-restaurant in town which as the name suggests, pays full tribute to house number 722 – the actual house address where Dom lives in. The idea was to bring what you saw in the movies to life and allow anyone to enjoy good food and drinks with good company at a location that will not suffocate you. So get ready to loosen up and kick back any day of the week, here are 5 reasons why you should toast to friendship at 722 Craft Experience:
1. Relax in a spacious “backyard” away from home
We get it, traffic in Bangkok is horrible. Instead of living at home-home in the suburbs and spending 4-hours a day commuting in a car/bus/boat/tuktuk, we choose to live in town in our nice and comfortable condos. But doing so, we forego any ability to really enjoy a backyard party. Fret not, because even though you may not have the space in your condo, 722 Craft Experience gives you a space that will make you feel right at home.
Whether it is for some mundane occasion like after-work-fun, a special birthday party, or simply to kick-start your weekend, the spacious backyard-like space will leave you feeling revitalized. With a space so homey and chic, you can come alone to hang out with the bartender, or you can bring 50 friends and make the space yours for the night!
2. Get smothered by a large drink selection
To be fair, if you were really partying in your backyard at home you would probably have to settle for maybe drinking one type of beer or a whiskey soda all night. Lucky for you, your new in-town backyard at 722 Craft Experience does not like their visitors to go home without having been smothered by every drink type imaginable. Head on over to their wall of beer where they have pretty much every type of beer imaginable both on tap and in bottles chilled to perfection.
Not a beer person? Tell the bartender what tastes you like and watch him pour magic out of the bottle. The beauty of being at 722 Craft Experience is that you will get just that, but you can just focus on the eating, drinking, and chatting part without the hassle of the cooking and cleaning.
Dig in to their BBQ Pork Spare Ribs (THB 600++) to really get your hands dirty, the full-flavored juicy Uptowner beef burger with mushroom sauce (THB 320++), or settle for a more Thai feel with the Grilled Pork Neck with Secret Sauce (Kor Moo Yaang) (THB 250++). All of their dishes packs a punch so prepare your taste buds to experience some really intense flavors!
4. Enjoy the view from up top in new territory
Say “bye” to Ekamai, Thonglor, Silom, and Sathorn. This backyard bar-restaurant has ventured into new rooftop territory nearer to Sukhumvit 71. Not currently known for many up-and-coming hangouts in the area, 722 Craft Experience’s location is very strategic for being a venue that is easy to get to, easy to park at (specially reserved at SD Grill), and very easy to enjoy.
Once at the top, the view is still ever so stunning and with a pool to enjoy during the hotter nights, a covered area to chill under when it rains, and even a star gazing deck to enjoy your private parties on – we are in awe at how many ways we can enjoy this view. Add to that some great live music during the weekends, large screen TVs for those who want to cheer on your favorite teams, and a secret rumor that there might be a pool table room opening soon and we might just have to make this our real permanent “backyard”.
5. Immerse yourself in a beautiful crowd
The bartenders are awesome, the servers are awesome, and the people who visit this place just seem to attract other awesome people. As we sat at our table people gazing, we are now convinced that good energy attracts more good energy. The beautiful people that were making their way to 722 Craft Experience were all here for a good time and even though it was a group of strangers just being in the same place, somehow it added to the positive vibe.
Throw into the mix the constant pool parties that the venue throws for all the sexy boys and girls to join for a splash and we have a recipe for a good time. There is no backyard more eventful and happening than this one!
