BLEN FES - Bangkok: Elevating Everyone
Free to attend events are normally lowkey and very often do not include any awesome surprises. For new comer BLEN FES however, they decided to make their Bangkok edition of the 5-leg BLEN FES tour a little different than the others. Having already been organized in Phitsanulok before, BLEN FES normally sticks to a formula where the organizers invite superstars of the Thai music scene to grace their stages to rock out with the crowd. However, on March 11th, 2017 the parking lots at MEGA Bangna was converted into a large-scale concert area and BLEN FES took the opportunity to give some smiles back to everyone in attendance with one slight twist – superstar DJ Ummet Ozcan who is ranked number 19 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list.
Just like any other BLEN FES there was a focus on the people attending and ensuring that everyone was left satisfied. This edition was no different as the organizers continued to go all out with what they were doing with the addition of a superstar DJ! The signature triangle stage and décor made it to the capital and with at least another 3 cities left on the tour schedule – Khon Kaen, Chiang-Rai, and Udon Thani – Bangkok should be considered lucky to be on the BLEN FES tour trail. Walk Through the Iconic Triangular Arch
As you walk through the awesome yellow arches, you already get the feeling that a party vibe waits for you on the other side. The lights are sparkling and the music is pumping – the air is anything but dead. There are people walking everywhere and it makes you feel like your feet can no longer stand still. Get yourself a wristband then get yourself a glow stick, it is time to party like no tomorrow.
Dance Your Socks Off with Ummet Ozcan
When you thought it could not get any better, up comes Ummet Ozcan the electro house Dutch DJ, who brings with him a unique synth sound that really tickles your senses. His presence was definitely felt by the crowd as they roared and seeing him situated right on the triangle stage in front of lights, lasers, and even fireworks made the night as memorable as you would think it would be. He surely made us raise our hands.
Rock on With Local Superstar Artists
Music may move you, but good music will undoubtedly make you jump, dance, and sing all at once. And with the likes of Joey Boy, Tattoo Colour, Boom Boom Cash, Lomosonic, DJ Sunzone, and MC Bizzo all ready to put on a party it was easy to really get into it. With hits after hits being played, genre after genre, the crowd seemed to dance harder than the dancers on stage themselves.
Make Some Awesome New Friends
It was easy to look left and right and find friendly faces in the crowd. It seemed like wherever you looked, everyone was there ready to make new friends. Maybe it was the fun-factor, but surely the good mood everyone was in was not a coincidence. BLEN FES is truly a place where you can bond with your old crew or add new members to your new.
