Seenspace was a favorite place to grab dinner and drinks before heading to the clubs in Thonglor. When it closed down, it left most of us wondering what would come in its place. Thanks to the same brilliant minds that made Fallabella one of the hottest nightlife spots in Bangkok, the venue was transformed in Pirate Arena, a brand-new 3-story hangout spot with each floor set to immerse you into a different journey of its own. The first floor is home to the Pirate Saloon, a beer and whiskey bar dressed up as a pirate’s ship. There’s also a variety of food and drinks items on the menu that will certainly spice up your voyage. The second floor is a Pirate Bazaar where you can find a wine bar that plays some smooth jazz. The third floor is Fallabella Luxe, a reincarnation of the legendary nightlife venue that comes ready with fine food, creative cocktails, and music that will certainly make you dance the night away.

This retro-looking cocktail bar filled with pink flamingos sits right behind the restaurant Prelude. Seemingly inspired by the parties in the 80’s, this tropical bar is a rare find in the middle of a district like Thonglor. The cocktail list was meticulously crafted by the lead mixologist who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), filling it up with a wide variety of fascinating and palatable drinks. We recommend the Angel Pink (350 THB) that is made out of gin, elderflowers, and red Shiso or simply let the bartender surprise you with the Mystery Box (350 THB).

Don’t confuse between the ABar and the ABar Rooftop because they will give you a distinctively different experience. The ABar is a retro-style indoor bar lined with dark-colored wooden furniture that has a hint of the Victorian era. The balcony just above the Benjasiri Park serves as the perfect spot for enjoying the cool Bangkok evening breeze along with your favorite glass of cocktail. The ABar Rooftop comes off as more modern and laid-back than the previous. The distinction, however, lies within the Chinese-themed bar that serves up to 55 uniquely different drinks of your choosing. We recommend the bar’s signature G&T No.3 (425 THB) made from Martin Miller gin and Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic and adorned with colorful flowers on the side. Looking for a perfect rooftop bar in the middle of the city? Look no further.
