THE CACTUS PLANT FLEA MARKET X NIKE AIR VAPORMAX 2019

© Nike

This unique model is born from the collaborative effort of Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM). The latter is a streetwear brand known for its hip ‘DIY’ fashion. Together, they’ve recreated Nike Air VaporMax by adding some distinctive designs.

The upper is greenish grey/black with new details like the turquoise Nike Swoosh that reminds us of LED neon flex. This bright tone is matched by the green & red outsole, giving the shoes stunning futuristic vibes.

The sneakers also feature other original details such as the “Just Do It” slogan and a smiley face emoji on the heel, which provides a playful touch. The good news is Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air VaporMax 2019 is available right now for 8,500 THB. The bad news? They only come in women’s sizes. (Don’t feel too bad about it, boys.)

Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost 2019 Collection

Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost 19 is one of the brand’s most recent collections in 2019. Coming in three colorways for Asian, European, and US markets, these kicks are inspired by Adidas’ vintage running shoes. This time, the classic silhouettes are brought back with a full range of new technologies.

The single-molded Boost foam outsole means these shoes can absorb more impact and provide you with superior comfort whether you’re running marathons or strolling down the street. The upper uses Primeknit technology, which makes it flexible and fit snugly on your feet.

Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost 19 sells for 220 USD (7,000 THB).

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW “IVORY SNAKE”

© Sneaker News

Another one of Nike’s classic sneakers, AIR FORCE 1 LOW “IVORY SNAKE”, returns just in time for its 23rd anniversary.

Also known as Nike AF1 Python Snake, this special edition is available only in Asia after its initial launch in 1996. The shoes still feature the classic white NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW look, contrasted by the snakeskin print on the Nike Swoosh as well as the heel counter.

The kicks come with matching socks, so you can walk around town while looking extra fine and fresh. You might need to hurry if you want one of these bad boys, though. The limited edition is up for grabs now at 160 USD (5,100 THB).

SACAI X NIKE “LD WAFFLE”

© Hypebeast

After leaked images from Paris Fashion Week circled around the media, Sacai X Nike “LD Waffle” has become the topic on the lips of every sneakerhead around the world. The cutting-edge design is a joint effort of Nike and Sacai, a Japanese high-end brand and Nike’s creative partner.

The collection is a result of the brands’ reimagination of their classic models. Expected to be a hit in the 2019 sneaker scene, Sacai X Nike “LD Waffle” combines the silhouettes of the ‘70s running shoes such as Nike Waffle Daybreak and Nike LDV.

The unconventional double Nike Swoosh and tongue add a dash of modern style, while the mainstay ‘Waffle’ outsole provides extra grip on the ground. This particular model is available in two colorways - Varsity Blue/Del Sol and Green Gusto/Safety Orange - for 180 USD (5,800 THB).

ADIDAS ZX 4000 4D “BLACK ONIX”

© Adidas Thailand

Adidas Originals ZX 4000 4D takes the ZX line from the ‘80s and combines it with Adidas’ most recent and advanced technologies. These include the flexible and ultra-light Primeknit and the digitally-printed 4D midsole, which helps distribute the force and absorbs impact.

The stylish Black Onyx upper is a great balance against the grey accent and red tongue. A pair of Adidas Originals ZX 4000 4D can set you back 350 USD (12,000 THB).

NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 X NIKE SB ”LAKERS”

© Sneaker News

Air Jordan 1 joins with Nike SB to bring you the much-hyped, color-changing model. When scratched or bruised, the exterior paint will chip away and reveal the inner layer. These kicks come in Lakers Purple and Light Bone, with the Lakers Purple shifting into red/purple and Light Bone going from grey to pink/red.

Nike is inspired by the skateboard culture during the ‘80s - a time when Air Jordan 1 was all the rage among the skateboarders. As you can imagine, those kicks saw much wear and tear from the owner’s active lifestyle.

That’s why this edition features the ‘worn-away’ paint, which isn’t a defect or blemish, but rather a gimmick to make the shoes extra special. (However, this isn’t Nike’s first run with color-changing sneakers. The brand had released the chameleonic Lance Mountain Air Jordan in 2014.)

Nike Air Jordan 1 X Nike SB “Lakers” is currently available for 175 USD (5,600 THB).

AAPE+ by A Bathing Ape Spring/Summer Footwear Collection

© Sneaker News

The silhouette closely resembles Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer, save for the adjustable strap around the ankle for better fit and comfort. Wearers with different foot anatomy can adjust the tightness to their personal preference.

The upper is made with ultra-light and super breathable fabric, which uses advanced textile technology. If sock sneakers are your thing, you should try slipping into these. AAPE+ Awakening EX sells for 150 USD (4,800 THB).

Nike Adapt BB Colorway

© Sneaker News

Nike Adapt BB offers cutting-edge technology that can be controlled from your smartphone. Returning this month with a brighter colorway, the collection is compatible with the Nike Adapt app on iOS and Android. The app lets you adjust the tightness and the LED colors, which makes the model stand out from other Nike shoes.

For a pair of these sneakers right out of Back to the Future, you’ll need to drop 350 USD (11,000 THB).
