Beauty Meets Movement: MAC Cosmetics Partners With PUMA for a Suede Sneaker Collaboration
PUMA isn’t done with its 50-year anniversary celebrations just yet. After releasing the adorable PUMA x Hello Kitty collection featuring a special-edition Suede Trainers at the beginning of 2018, they’re back again. This time, its MAC and their legendary line of lipsticks.
The PUMA x MAC collection based on the Suede line will feature a total of 3 colors inspired by MAC’s best-selling lipstick shades. The peachy beige comes from Crème d'Nude of the Creamsheen formula, the dramatic coral-red from Lady Danger, and the deep matte burgundy is from Sin.
Other than the overall suede leather body, the color shade of the laces is made to match that of the outsole while the PUMA x MAC logo sticker is beautifully displayed on the tongue. These special-edition shoes also come with premium special-edition boxes that match the shade of the shoes. The box also bears a golden stamp that reads “Puma Suede” and the number 50 celebrating the 50th year anniversary of this sneaker model.
It won’t be easy for fans of Puma and MAC in Thailand to find one of these beauties as they are only officially released at selected stores in the US. You can also find the collection on PUMA’s official online store for $85 or about 2,737 THB. The only color left now is the Lady Danger, so don’t wait up!
