Anti Social Social Club Comes Up All Cute and Adorable With the New Hello Kitty Collaboration
The new collection from Anti Social Social Club will brighten up your day with the cuteness of Sanrio’s most iconic character, Hello Kitty. At the beginning of this year, Hello Kitty had just partnered up with sneaker brand PUMA for an exclusive 50-years celebration collection for the Suede Trainers model. Now, they’ve joined up with everyone’s favorite streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club (ASSC) for a shocking pink collection that'd just been released on August 4th, 2018. News of the collaboration and the release date, with little to no warning, unveiled by ASSC through their Instagram (@antisocialsocialclub) just a day prior to the official online drop.
ASSC x Hello Kitty is part of the latest Fall/Winter 2018 drop that was officially released at the same time. The collection features all sorts of product category including jackets, sweaters, hats, bags, face masks, pocket knives, and flashlights. The Sanrio capsule collaboration, however, features only a hoodie, a T-shirt and a baseball cap, all in bright hot pink. All three items are similarly designed with Hello Kitty’s face embroidered on the front and the iconic logo font of Anti Social Social Club at the back, with an exception of the cap that bears the ASSC logo on the side instead.
Although this is a special collection, the price tags aren’t as exorbitant as you might think. The hooded sweater goes for $88.69 (around 2,950 THB), the T-Shirt is $46.00 (around 1,530 THB), and the baseball cap is $48.00 (around 1,960 THB). If you’re interested in all of them, you can get the entire set at $182.69 (around 6,080 THB).
Even though both brands didn’t do much regarding promoting and marketing ahead of the drop, all three items were sold out within hours of release. If you want to get your hands on this special collection, you might have to search for them through re-sellers and settle for a higher price.
