Taking the Fight Against Acne to the next Level: Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask

Taking the Fight Against Acne to the next Level: Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask

Over 80% of people between the ages of 11 to 30 develop acne issues at some point in their lifes. If you're lucky it's moderate, if not it's severe and can leave scars and cause skin discoloration. In any case, it's irritating, it ruins your look and it affects your self-esteem. It's safe to it just sucks.

Each person has their own unique combination causes, with the top contributing factors to acne being bacteria, oil, dead skin cells, hormones, and inflammation, and the demand for acne treatment drugs and medications is high. While we are used to a huge supply of pills and creams, a recently launched, futuristic mask by the renowned skincare brand Neutrogena now joins the ranks of acne-fighting solutions.

The science behind the mask has been used by dermatologists
for decades, but as it has to be applied 2-3 times per week to be effective - and only few people have the time and leisure to visit their dermatologists in such a high frequency - it has never become very popular as a treatment.

Luckily, the technology is now available in at-home devices. High-end devices come with price tags as hefty as $1,800 USD, known to be used by celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Kelly Rowland, Neutrogena's battery-powered device however - at just $39.99 USD - is significantly more affordable than its competitors.

The Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask is a Stormtrooper–esque, and very much Instagram-worthy mask studded with blue and red lights. The recommended usage suggests a daily usage of 10 minutes, which will combat bacteria and inflammation and lead to clearer, healthier skin. One huge advantage is that the mask is an ingredients-free solution – there are no fragrance, no chemicals, and no oil. It's just light; a clinically-proven technology to clear acne and allow skin to heal itself.

The Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask: Behind The Lights

Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask is the only home LED device that simultaneously treats your face with both blue and red visible lights, and results can be visible in as little as 1 week. Their clinical studies have proven that out of all users, 98% had fewer acne breakouts, 94% had smoother skin, and 90% showed a reduction of red, inflammatory acne.

While the mask costs only $39.99 USD, it works in combination with a second part called "activator". The activator lasts for 30 daily sessions. After 30 sessions it needs to be replaced. An activator costs $14.99 USD. The mask has not yet hit stores in Thailand yet, but it's available on the 11street online marketplace.
