Foals - one of the UK's freshest rock acts - is bringing a head-banging performance to Thai fans in Foals Live in Bangkok at Moonstar Studio, Ladprao 80.
As the band is among the most anticipated for Thai rock devotees and music lovers, Foals fans can finally say their wait is over.
Based in Oxford, UK, the British rock band was formed in 2015 and currently has four members: Yannis Philippakis, Jack Bevan, Jimmy Smith, and Edwin Congreave.
Foals is known for their hyper-energetic live performances. Their showmanship is unlike any other and, according to many, a can’t-miss experience for music lovers. From the array of major music festivals they’ve performed at, such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Reading Festival, it’s not hard to see why that’s true.
One example of the band’s most outrageous stunts is how Yannis, the lead singer, often climbs the stage’s steel structures and/or elevated platforms before diving into the crowd below like a true daredevil.
So far, Foals has released a total of five albums, with several having held impressive ranks on the UK charts and won prestigious awards.
Total Life Forever landed on the #8 spot on the UK Albums chart, while the album’s “Spanish Sahara” won Best Track from NME Awards. The third album, Holy Fire, soared to #2 on the same chart, and won NME Awards’ Best Track once again with “Inhaler”.
The band’s next album, What Went Down, climbed to #3 rank on the UK Albums Chart and went on to win Best Album from the same show, NME Awards.
All these accolades should guarantee that this British rock ensemble can go toe-to-toe with any band on the global stage. Foals’ latest album, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, is climbing the charts as we speak, and we have no doubt that it will be as much of an award magnet as the previous ones.
