Fake Club The Next Gen
After spending over 12 years in the spotlight, Fake Club has moved from their original location near Or Tor Kor Market to their new venue in Ratchadaphisek Soi 4. The club retains all its captivating glory, but now, it has the luxury of a larger space and grander interior.
With live bands and energy-packed sets by awesome DJs, you can expect nightly entertainment on full blast. Sway to the rhythm and go wild on the dance floor as state-of-the-art light and sound systems enchant your night.
Those who frequent Fake Club can attest to its jaw-dropping highlight - shows by sexy superstuds - and a constant lineup of special events both seasonal and otherwise.
Fake Club offers a wide variety of drinks for you and your gang to enjoy throughout the night.
Established over 32 years ago, Telephone Pub is one of the longest-standing bars/ restaurants in Silom Soi 4. The name comes from their ingenious idea of installing a telephone at every table; you could call that cutie on the other side of the room right from your seat.
But times have changed, and technology plays an ever-growing role in our lives. Today, the phones have been removed from the tables.
Telephone Pub has three floors and several areas. First is the outdoor seating at the front. It’s super open, so you’ll have no trouble gazing out at the eye candies passing by.
As the name suggests, the interior on the first floor has a pub feel to it, with seats for enjoying drinks and chatting the night away with your friends. On the second floor is a dining-style area, more suitable for a heavier meal or patrons who prefer some privacy.
The third floor is taken over by the karaoke room. Here, you can unleash your inner diva and belt out your favorite ballads with the squad. Telephone Pub’s style is mostly retro, decorated with bright, colorful lights for some eye-catching effects.
For the food, the pub offers Thai and international menus with drink selections, such as wines, whiskeys, cocktails, vodkas, and beers, to match.
Finally, there’s the quality music to get the good vibes rolling. In the early evenings, Telephone Pub plays chill, breezy tunes. After 21.00, though, they’ll pump up the volume with lively beats - dance music you can groove to.
Also, every Wednesday night is Disco Night; expect funky disco tracks and gorgeous cabaret shows.
The Stranger Bar
This spellbinding bar is known for its outrageous drag shows by the glamorous and talented drag queen crew. You can enjoy the spectacular performances every night in an intimate setting.
The owner of The Stranger Bar is none other than M Stranger Fox from Drag Race Thailand Season 2, who intends to make the bar the most prominent ‘House of Drag Queens’ there is.
The drag show is on every night starting from 22.30; there’s also an army of awesome DJs who’ll add some buzz to these amazing nights.
The ambiance at The Stranger Bar is casual and cozy. Seatings are available indoor and outdoor, with curious and quirky drinks you can try.
Here’s another Silom Soi 4 bar with some chill vibes. Connections Bar’s decor is simple but cozy and welcoming; seatings are available both indoor and outdoor.
The bar serves a variety of delicious meals throughout the night, mainly Thai-Esan dishes. The owner even personally inspects all menu so you can trust that the flavors and quality of ingredients will be exceptional.
But if you’re looking for something a little less filling, Connections Bar also offers a full range of drinks: cocktails, whiskeys, vodkas, wines, and beers.
Enjoy their electrifying playlists, which become more and more energized as the night goes on. The slow, mellow beats in the early evening turn into exhilarating tempos later in the night.
The tracks are mostly 70-90s dance music; their MVs are projected on the large screen in the bar. You can bop along while sitting at your table or request specific songs that have been on your mind.
Connections Bar also hosts monthly special shows to keep it fresh and exciting.
BAS Living Room
If you prefer tamer, quieter venues, where you can sit and chat without having to shout, BAS Living Room is an absolute can’t-miss. The place stands proudly in Silom Soi 4 and has a comfy and cozy setting. Armchairs make up most of the bar’s seating area, which means you can truly wind down and relax.
At BAS Living Room, you can lounge in any corner on their soft, supple seats. (You’ll never want to get out of these chairs!) In other parts of the venue, there are wooden bar tables that face the wall and the outside - ideal for those looking to drink alone or people watch. There’s also an open-air seating area out at the front.
Complete your enjoyable night here with top-quality cocktails, beers, whiskeys, vodkas, and wines. You can sip on these and chill to easy-going tracks during the early evening, then shake it up and dance to more energetic beats in the late night.
Fork & Cork by Sphinx
Who would’ve thought that the buzzing nightlife neighborhood like Silom Soi 4 would house a hidden bar & restaurant? Standing for over 26 years at the end of this Soi is Fork & Cork by Sphinx, formerly known by their regular customers as simply Sphinx.
Aiming to be more than ‘just a restaurant’, Fork & Cork by Sphinx tries to provide a place where people can drink, relax, and chill out with their friends. The venue is open to people from all demographics; gay men, as well as others from the LGBT community, can hangout here without feeling awkward or out of place.
The menu is mostly authentic Thai dishes with some international options to switch it up. The drink selection is quite impressive as well, with premium ingredients from all over the world that’ll please any tasteful drinker.
Choose from a variety of wines, whiskeys, vodkas, beers, and cocktails; don’t forget to try signature cocktails such as Mint Chocolate Margarita and Italian Mojito.
The industrial warehouse look at Fork & Cork has a raw, loft feel. There’s plenty of seating available; the indoor lets you chill in the cooling comfort of the air-conditioned venue, while the outdoor and sofa seating areas allow for a more convivial atmosphere and saucy gossiping.
Alternatively, you can enjoy your time here just as much sitting at the bar counter, chatting away with the friendly bartenders.
Other than this Silom Soi 4 venue, there’s also a branch of Fork & Cork at Wongwian 22 in W22 by Burasari Hotel. Anyone living in the area should drop by for some seriously fun time.
Though not exclusively promoted as an LGBT venue, Maggie Choo’s has been providing spectacular entertainment for many queer clubgoers, especially on Sunday nights.
The bar often hosts special themed events such as Sunday Gay Night, with shows from fabulous drag queens led by Pangina Heals, the co-host of Drag Race Thailand, and other glamorous divas. Be sure to come prepared for a sizzling Sunday night!
There are also top-notch DJs who’ll support the shows with a spectrum of exciting sets.
On other nights, Maggie Choo’s sees quality artists from all kinds of genres. Their hair-raising performances would please any music lover for sure.
Another thing worth highlighting is the decor that takes you back in time. As you step inside, you’re transported to a scene of a Shanghaian underground club in the 1930s. At every turn are Chinese curios such as old table sets, vintage photos of Chinese people, paper lanterns, and umbrellas.
Further inside Maggie Choo’s, you’ll see materials like bricks and metals, giving the venue an air of enigma while at the same time keeping it lively and playful.
The food and drinks here are just as amazing as the decor. On the food, menu are Thai-Chinese fusion dishes with the main course and light appetizer options.
Maggie Choo’s is known for their signature cocktails - a mix & match of various ingredients crafted by expert mixologists. This results in creative drinks with clever presentations.
