It’s the time of the year once again to celebrate the end of a passing year and welcome the next with all the major music festivals that will take place during the final month of December. Whether it’s EDM, House, Techno, or even live music that you and your friends love, you’ll definitely be making some wild memories to send-off the year with these 6 music festivals in December!

On The Way Lifestyle & Music Festival

Grab and Zaap welcome the first day of December with an epic EDM party called On The Way Lifestyle & Music Festival. Taking place on Saturday 1 December, 2018 at Live Park Rama 9, the festival features the OTW to Play activities zone, food and drinks from the top restaurants on GrabFood with the OTW to Eat refreshments zone, and the OTW to Dance EDM party zone that will be welcoming quite a number of talented international acts.

Headlining the festival will be Vinai, the Italian EDM duo best known for their hit song “How We Party” that’d garnered over 134 million views on YouTube, followed by 4B, an American DJ best known for his single “Pop Dat” with Aazar that had became a household track at major music festivals around the globe as well as his remixes of “Middle” by DJ Snake and “My Way” by Fetty Wap, Thomas Newson, a Dutch Producer/DJ who’ve performed alongside major names like Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and Joey Dale, and Aazar who’ll be making his Thailand debut at this party. 808 Festival 2018

Those of you who’ve been to any previous installments of 808 Festivals know that this is the party that you just can’t miss. For the 6th edition this year, 808 Festival will be bringing A State of Trance 850 - Be in the Moment to all the Thai fans for the very first time, featuring all the world-class Trance acts on the day one. Headlining the event will be Armin Van Buuren, a Dutch Producer/DJ who’ve made it to #1 on DJ Mag Top 100 on 5 occasions and best known for his single “Blah Blah Blah” that gathered 187 million views on YouTube within just 6 months. Supporting acts include both local and international talents like Boris Foong, DJ Faahsai, Jonnie B, NWYR, Orjan Nilsen, Ruben De Ronde b2b Estiva, and Vini Vici.

The second day will be led by one of the major forces in the EDM industry like Skrillex whose hit songs like Bangarang (687 million views on YouTube), First of the year, Purple Lamborghini, and Ragga Bomb had became household tracks at almost all music festivals around the world. He’ll be supported by Rezz, Troyboi, and Whethan. There are 3 more acts that hasn’t been officially announced, but just the current line-up should be enough to convince you that this year’s 808 Festival is one party not to miss. Big Mountain Music Festival 9

One of Thailand’s most successful annual music festival has entered its 9th year, and things can only get bigger for this event. Bringing together over 200 artists from around Thailand, Big Mountain Music Festival 9 proudly presently 9 performance stages including the Ferris Wheel Stage, Cow Stage, Black Stage, Egg Stage, Chic Stage, Akojorn Pub, Rum Wong Bar, Dancing Stage, Pepsi Hip-Hop Stage, and the brand-new Hip-Hop Stage that will feature a line-up of talented Thai rappers. Maya International Music Festival 2018

Maya Music Festival is back for its 2018 edition with an even bigger and more international show than ever. Whether you’re a fan of EDM parties or live shows, Maya International Music Festival 2018 will be bringing a massive line-up of international DJs and artists for an all-out 2-day party this coming Saturday and Sunday 8-9 December, 2018 at Oasis Arena, Show DC Rama 9.

On the EDM side of things, there will be Alesso, Galantis, Markus Schulz, Porter Robinson, Major Lazer, Robert Falcon, and Showtek taking turns lighting up the crowd for 5 hours straight. British Indie Electro-Pop duo Oh Wonder will also be making an appearance to serenade the Thai fans will their wispy, slow-grooving, R&B-flecked tunes once again. K-Pop and J-Pop fans can also rejoice because this year’s event will see selected members of popular groups like EXO-CBX, NCT U, NCT 127, Super Junior D&E, Super Junior, Girl’s Generation, and SHINee, as well as one of Japan’s leading girl groups at the moment like AKB48 who’ll be performing in Thailand for the very first time. Wonderfruit 2018

Thailand’s 4-day celebration of the arts, music, and sustainable living returns in 2018 for its 5th edition at Siam Country Club, Pattaya on Thursday through Sunday 13-16 December, 2018. an, the family-friendly festival will feature live music from international and local DJs and artists as well as fine food stalls, health and wellness activities, perspective-shifting talks and workshops, and cutting-edge architecture. The festival also promotes their theme of sustainability by, for example, having a zero single-use plastic policy and providing water straight from their natural lakes.

Knock Knock Pattaya Countdown 2019

It’s time to welcome the new year in style with a countdown EDM dance party with some of the top international DJs on Sunday and Monday 30-31 December 2018 at Maya Space, Pattaya. The lineup has been fully disclosed and has got many of us looking forward to traveling a few hours outside of Bangkok for the New Year’s celebration. Headliners include the #1 DJ that topped the DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs for 3 consecutive years like Martin Garrix who’ll be bringing his top hits like “Scared To Be Lonely”, “In The Name of Love”, “There For You”, and “Ocean”, followed by the Belgium duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike who’d remained at #2 for 4 consecutive years and best known for their hit songs like “The Hum”, “Hey Baby”, “Higher Place”, and “Nova”.

The headliners will be supported by Kura and Sultan+Shepard, plus a number unconfirmed acts that Meta Music Festival will be making an announcement very shortly.
