Battle of the Butchers: 5 Meat Shops in Bangkok that Make the Cut

Battle of the Butchers: 5 Meat Shops in Bangkok that Make the Cut

Let’s face it, we all love to munch down on some good meat from time to time. Whether it’d be a juicy pork chop, tender roasted chicken, or a thick cut of medium rare beef, we are all willing to pay a premium to have the cut be selected and cooked by a professional chef.

But in this culinary wonderland, we call Bangkok; it wouldn’t be right if there weren't a way we can select the meats ourselves to take home and cook. And no, we’re not talking about those meats available in supermarkets or grocery stores. We’re talking butchers, real, serious, full-blooded butchers.

For those of you who enjoy making your steaks or burgers and want to be more adventurous about your cuts selection, here is a short list of 5 butchers in Bangkok that offer a fresh alternative to your ordinary supermarkets.

Each comes with their version of high-quality beef selection as well as a range of other meat cuts. This list is not made in any particular order, so have a look for yourself which butcher makes the cut for you.
