It seems like every so often, we discover a new strain of pathogens. As we try to stay safe from these infectious agents, sanitizer products turn into more of an everyday necessity. Surgical masks, hand sanitizers, and alcohol sprays are the must-have items of today.

Mobile phones have become an integral part of our lifestyle; that much is obvious. For those glued to social media, especially, phones are indeed their lifelines.

With many viruses running rampant, anyone would want to keep their essential gadget germ-free. However, wiping down electrical devices with alcohol gels/sprays or other sanitizing agents multiple times a day doesn’t seem like a good practice. After all, the last thing you want is to ruin your phone.

And that’s where this handy product comes in. Casetify – one of the top sellers of phone accessories and cases – releases a brand-new innovation to help phone addicts keep their devices clean. The UV Sanitizer, the company claims, can kill 99.99% of pathogens on the surface of your phone.

On average, a person picks up their phone as often as 2,000 times per day. So you shouldn’t be surprised to hear that phones are basically hi-tech Petri dishes.

To remedy that, Casetify releases a new product called the UV Sanitizer. The device is a portable sanitizing machine for phones of virtually all models, as well as small gadgets that fit inside the case.

The main feature of the UV Sanitizer is the ability to kill 99.99% of germs on your phone’s surface within three minutes. In the case are six high-quality, lead-free UV bulbs, so rest assured that the device is completely safe.

Other than its efficient sanitizing functions, the device also doubles as a wireless charging pad.

As for more immediate concern, Casetify has come out and stated that though the UV Sanitizer can kill most germs effectively, there hasn’t been any official test to confirm its ability to kill the COVID-19 virus.

If you’re interested, you can get the UV Sanitizer from the Casetify website for 120 USD (about 4,000 THB) a piece with free worldwide shipping.

Proceedings from the product will go to Global Giving – a crowdfunding community that provides medical support as well as food and other necessities in this pandemic crisis. Not only that you’ll be keeping yourself safe from germs, but you’ll also allow the group to help others in need.
