Netflix and Instagram are bringing together the top stars from Young Adult shows and movies on Netflix for a new live chat series called “Wanna Talk About It?” that will be airing on Instagram Live. The series will focus on taking care of yourself and your mental health during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Participating in the campaign are Noah Centineo and Lana Condor from the series “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”, Caleb McLaughlin from “Stranger Things”, Jerry Harris from the series “Cheer”, Joey King from “The Kissing Booth”, and Alisha Boe and Ross Butler from “13 Reasons Why”.

The objective of the series is to reach out and support its younger audience during the social distancing period who might be experiencing mental health issues from being isolated for an extended time. Topics that would be touched upon include, but not limited to, anxiety management, sleeping troubles, depression and stress, and ways to stay connected during social distancing.

In each episode, the stars will be discussing with trusted mental health experts from leading organizations like National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Mental Health America, The Trevor Project, Crisis Text Line, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

The series had officially launched its debut episode on April 9 with Noah Centineo on Netflix’s Instagram page (@netflix) where he was able to talk with Dr.Ken Duckworth, Chief Medical Officer of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), on the topic of self-care.

You can catch the upcoming episodes and join the live chat session through the Netflix IG Live channel weekly every Thursday at 7:00 pm (EDT) or 6:00 am on Fridays in Thailand. The series will be running through until May 14.
