Dontri Festival 2019 is a rocket-fueled festival that takes you into Bangkok’s infinite musical space. It’s a real can’t-miss for music enthusiasts, especially if you enjoy many different genres.
The event features progressive, electro, trap, hip-hop, hardstyle, house, techno, trance, psy trance, and bass music talents.
Suffice to say, whatever genres you’re into, you can head right to the stage of your preference. Alternatively, if you enjoy a lot of different styles, just take a tour around Changchui.
Dontri Festival 2019 boasts an epic lineup of over 80 DJs, artists, and producers, here to deliver a truly stellar musical experience. The fact that Thailand’s music scene is home to so many talents is nothing short of incredible success.
As for the light & sound systems and the venue, Dontri Festival 2019 promises a jaw-dropping production with 8 stages, 8 genres, and the theme “The Creation of the Galaxy”. The concept design includes unique art installations. As great art comes into the orbit of great music, some exciting events are bound to happen.
First up is the Main Stage, dubbed “Daek Din”, which features headliners such as FAAHSAI, HI3ND, JAYSUS, KAMERA, KRISADA, MAKE YOU FREAK, MODY SKYWALKER, ROXY JUNE, SOUNDSTYLIST, and TONG APOLLO.
The second stage, “Aa Nehk Paa Song”, brings you an army of trap & hardstyle artists. Get ready for AYRTONL, BASS THERAPY, BLACK RAIN, BOTCASH, BURNED HOG, DI3NO, GAIL WERNER, HANNYA, KATTMA, MONSTER P, POOM INDENT, SUNDAY SUNDAE, and UNFRND.
“Saeb Teen”, the third stage, is led by one of the most sought-after artists at the moment - URBOYTJ. He’ll be joined by bang-up acts such as ANAN, KENNY V, BUTUNG, WHATDAFORG, CHAMP, NUTT JUMPER, DIAMOND-T, GOLFINDRO, JEDI, MC TE, RYTB, JB, and TDOUBLE E.
Get your trance on at the fourth stage, “Do Jit Laew Arai Gor Chang”, with a fully-loaded lineup of A&Z, OMAR SHERIF, PHILIPPE EL SISI, SAM LAXTON, EJZ, FUSION, HYBRID JAY, HYPE VIPER, JONNIE B, LEE VAN WILLEM, LONSKII, PVLMFCK, and TANN.
At the fifth stage, “Chang Chueam”, expect energetic house & techno sets by the likes of AKIRA, ALEX FISCHER, ARSIT, ATMA, B.SAKKARN, DAN BURI, FRED CANAL, JAMIE JAMES, MISS FOSTER, PAUL REED, SYSTIMATIC, and TJ TIESJUNGLE.
The sixth stage, named “Green Zone”, allows you to immerse in psy trance on full blast by artists like BLADERS HYPNOTIZE, GOA GUMMY, I LOST MY KEYS, JACK THE JACKAL, JOHN LEE, PZYCHOBIZ, and PUFFER P.
Enjoy bass music at the seventh stage, “Kao Room”, with sets from top-notch acts such as AZEK, DRAGON, ORAWAN, K9, OZRAM, PICHY, THAISTICK, and ZATKID.
Last but certainly not least is the Showcase Stage; the lineup features fresh acts such as AN ANT, BENZDYBOY, GIANTSIAM, IDPD, PEBE, VEGABOND, and VIM.
Dontri Festival 2019 is taking place at Changchui - a famous creative space in Thonburi located on Sirinthorn Road. It has become the Talk of the Town after crowds of art lovers flocked over to the venue and caused a massive traffic jam.
Standing on an over 17,000 m² piece of land, Changchui continues to organize hip activities and creative installations, which you should drop by and experience. However, Dontri Music Festival 2019 marks Changchui’s debut as the host of a major music festival.
If you live far away, or isn’t a native Thonburian, no worries! The organizers will provide shuttle cars from BTS Bang Wha and Khaosan Road. Alternatively, you can bring your own ride and park in Changchui’s provided parking space.
This musical phenomenon will no doubt be bringing breathtaking live performances to you. Still, there are also many other ways to enjoy the festival. Don’t forget to snap some shots at the photo booths and feast on a parade of mouth-watering treats.
