Levi’s Goes Vintage with High-Waisted Jeans in Latest Release
Levi’s brings back the hip high-waisted fashion with its Ribcage and High-Rise Jeans series in this Fall/Holiday 2019 collection.
Jeans are arguably one of the most classic fashion items of all time. No matter who you are or which style you prefer, there’s always a pair of jeans hiding somewhere in your closet.
One of the brands that have stuck to its denim heritage in every design for the past 145 years is Levi’s. The global leader in jeans has just decided to bring back the spirit of the vintage ‘90s with its latest collection, officially released last month at Factoria BKK in Warehouse 26 on August 7, 2019.
If you’re a fan of high-waisted fashion, then you'd better get ready. With its latest Fall / Holiday 2019 collection, Levi’s will be turning back the clock with not just one, but two high waist jeans series: Ribcage and High-Rise. Each brings its own sense of style that will help you create a new look that’s unique to our personalities.
Let’s start with the Ribcage jeans (our favorite of the two series), bringing back the ‘90s grunge-era vintage 501 Originals and turning it into a high-waisted denim perfection.
At the rise of 12 inches, the Ribcage jeans are easily the highest of anything Levi’s has produced. It features a slim fit at the waist, hip, and thigh areas while also boasting a chic straight ankle. Ribcage series is up for grabs at 3,190 THB a piece.
Meanwhile, the High-Rise series comes with a total of 3 different styles, all featuring a rise of 10 inches.
First is the 720 High-Rise Super Skinny that comes with extremely skinny lower legs, but also flexible fabric texture as well as multiple shades and lengths to choose from. These are priced at 2,890 THB and 3,190 THB depending on the color.
The second style is the 721 High-Rise Skinny - a high-waisted with skinny legs just like the 720, but with a slightly wider leg opening. You can choose from over 10 different designs with prices ranging from 2,090 THB to 4,990 THB.
Last but not least is the 724 High-Rise Straight, a 26’’ high-waisted with a slim fit on hip and thigh areas and straight leg opening right above the ankle. The style is the most casual of all three and is priced at 2,890 THB a piece.
Other than reviving the vintage look with these high-waisted babies, Levi’s has also released a super-cute collaboration with Hello Kitty. There’s a range of pretty products to choose from such as jeans, t-shirts, bags, and tote bags.
