With the weather in Bangkok going from hot to even hotter, we are bound to find ways to battle the heat. One of the ways to help ease this problem is to find dessert shops that not only fill your craving for something sweet, but it can also cool down your core temperature.

So, in no particular order, we would like to recommend you some interesting dessert shops found in Bangkok in hopes that they can help you battle the so called ‘super summer’.

1) Tongue Fun

Let’s start off with Tongue Fun, a Thai style dessert shop that has caught the attention of the citizens in Bangkok with their unique menu. Should you order seven scoops of ice-cream or more, the shop will deliver your order in a hot-pot, served with dry ice for maximum smoke effect.

Apart from this, there are 50 different types of ice-cream to choose from such as Kod Nom (Super Milk), Vodka Red Bull, and even Wasabi.

Their main shop is located at Soi Yotse across from Huachiew Hospital and operates from 7:00pm until 11:00pm every day.

2) Emack and Bolio’s

This shop draws in a crowd that is looking to fill their stomach with something sweet as the shop offers a large serving to their customers.

The brand was brought over from Boston, USA, with roughly around 20 various types of flavours to choose from, including Chocolate Oreo Crunch, Rainbow Dots, Sprinkles, Nutella, as well as Rice Krispy.

Some highlights from their shop are Pepper Magic, Chili on Ice, Milk Tea Ginger, Orange Cinnamon, as well as Lemongrass. So, if your keen to try something new and unique, this is definitely the shop for you.

5) Softree

Softree is a shop that serves organic milk ice-cream, delivered straight from Seoul, South Korea. They are very popular back in Korea due to the soft aromatic texture of their products.

Despite only having one flavour to choose from, there are a wide variety of topics such as Sweet Coco (Coconut Flakes), Magic Lamp (Crushed Nuts and Cereal), and their highlight Liquid Honey or Honey Comb.

So, if you’re keen to try out this place, there is definitely no need for you to fly all the way to Seoul in order to grab a taste.

6) IceDEA

Let’s round off this topic with a shop that serves more than just ice-cream, especially because the menu at IceDEA can be compared to pieces of artwork. Their products are uniquely built and served as beautifully crafted scoops.

They serve both ice-cream as well as sorbet, boosting more than 20 different types of flavours to choose from. Some unique examples are Wasabi, Khao Tom Mhat, and Global Warming. Apart from that, you can even choose from specially made selections such as Tonkatsu, World Cup Brownie Set, and so on.

Another bonus is that their menu is ever-changing, giving you the opportunity to try new creations on more than one occasion.
