5 Bingsu Cafes in Bangkok Any Fan of the Korean Ice Dessert Must Try

Noticeably, Korean culture has infiltrated the City of Angels very quickly over the past few years. From technology, K-Pop artists, fashion, music, and even TV series - but undeniably, the one thing that has arguably made the most impact among Thais has been the Korean food and desserts. With so much quality and time put into everything with Korean origins, it is not surprising why Bingsu cafes have become the cooling off place of choice for both young and old.

Bingsu, simply put, is Korean shaved ice that is usually served in a large bowl and packed to form an alluring cloud-like dessert mountain. Of course after the Instagram photos - because Bingsu bowls are like art. Many places add freshly cut fruit onto the ice, be it melons, strawberry, mango or matcha powder. To top it off, some condense milk also makes its way into the rich creaminess of the dessert. We have a winner that not only cools you off but also does it by fulfilling every side of your sweet cravings.

With so many bingsu cafes popping up, it may be hard to choose which one to hit first. We have compiled a list of 5 Bingsu cafes from different areas around Bangkok that you should definitely try out. Happy digging in!
