Clouds – A Virtual Club for Underground Music Fans

As Virtual Reality (VR) technology enters the music industry, being stuck at home and not out at nightclubs and bars no longer means you’ll be bored to death.
Tempo, an online magazine with a focus on all things electronic music, has announced a brand-new project: Clouds - Virtual Club. In this virtual space, you’ll be diving into a new kind of music experience and a 360º soundscape.
The organizer promises a rich story you can explore while enjoying your favorite genres. (As for what the visual narrative would be like in this virtual club, you’ll have to find out for yourself.)
The upcoming event, appropriately dubbed “Beta 1.0 Launch”, is in the club’s early & experimental stages. To join, catch the live stream on Facebook Page Clouds - Virtual Club on April 23 (Thu) between 23.00 - 03.00.
Within the virtual walls of the club, you’ll find a trio of electronic dance DJs: Marmosets with house, techno, & experimental music; DJ Sweed with house, deep house, & noise music; and NT66 with techno.
This project was created to connect people in the clubbing & underground music community – DJs, producers, music lovers, clubbers, ravers, as well as visual artists.
It’s also another way to support everyone in the club scene that has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and help them stay afloat during the crisis.
If exploring a fantasy world with music sounds pretty dope to you, there are two things you need to prepare for this journey.
First, you’ll need a VR headset or a smartphone with the volume turned up to the max so you can enjoy your favorite genre with visual arts. Not something you’ll see every day.
The other thing is your heart. Open up your heart and love for music and get ready for a new kind of experience coming to your home.
