Maho Rasop Festival: Bangkok's Brand-New International Indie Music Festival Experience

Maho Rasop Festival: Bangkok's Brand-New International Indie Music Festival Experience

If you’re a big fan of alternative music, then you probably know how difficult it can be to catch a live show of your favorite Indie artists in Bangkok. It’s not every day that a Thai promoter decides to bring in one, that’s why every performance of both local and international Indie artist in Bangkok instantly becomes mandatory and ticket purchase becomes imminent.

Indie concerts are considered a rare event in Bangkok, let alone an entire Indie music festival. That was until three of Bangkok’s leading promoters like HAVE YOU HEARD?, Seen Scene Space, and Fungjai decided to collaborate and bring all the Indie music enthusiasts a one-of-a-kind experience under the name “Maho Rasop Festival”.

As each promoter specializes in artists from different localities, Maho Rasop Festival presents an exhilarating line-up of up to 15 bands, both local and international. Currently, 12 artists of been officially confirmed by the festival including The Vaccines (UK), Miami Horror (Australia), PREP (UK), Sunflower Bean (USA), 大象體操 Elephant Gym (Taiwan), Solitude Is Bliss (Thailand), Wang Wen (China), VACATIONS (Australia), Lucie too (Japan), Gym and Swim (Thai), temp. (Thailand), and SOLE (Thailand). As for the other 3 bands that will fill out the line-up, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of surprises the promoters have in store for us.

If you’re still unsure whether this is the music festival for you, let some of their most popular music help you come to a conclusion.

Maho Rasop Festival will be taking place on Saturday November 17, 2018 at Live Park Rama 9 starting from 11.00 all the way until 23.30. Although the Blind Tickets (1,990 THB) have already been sold out, you can get your hands on all the other types of tickets today! The Early Bird tickets are 2,990 THB and the Student tickets are 2,490 THB (limited to 1,000 tickets and available only up to August 31). We just want to say that Indie music events like Maho Rasop Festival where you can experience up to 15 top local and international acts all in one place don’t happen that often. If you miss out on this one, there’s a high chance that you’ll be beating yourself up for quite a while as we can never tell when something of this scale will occur again.
